About Our Ranch
Spring Hollow Ranch & Equestrian Park is the premiere horse facility in Southwest Colorado. We offer a horse hotel, private arena rentals and daily haul-in’s. Our ranch is 300 acres and includes an indoor arena, two outdoor arenas, a trail system, trailer hookups and overnight horse boarding. Our team is knowledgeable and commitment to horse safety and enjoyment of all types of riders. We welcome all disciplines and have the setup and equipment for roping, cutting, dressage, jumping, pleasure and more. Our facility is constantly improving and adding new features including a dressage arena, a jumping arena, 160 stalls for events and a cross country course! Spring Hollow Ranch & Equestrian Park in Hesperus, CO is a premiere event facility. Our facility is the perfect location for horse clinics, horse shows, corporate meetings, family reunions, weddings and more.
- 135′ x 230′ state-of-the-art indoor arena. The arena has a full cutting and roping setup, a viewing area, a full integrated speaker system, bleachers, lights, heaters and more. Click here to book the arena.
- 250′ x 150′ outdoor arena with excellent footing that includes jumps, trail obstacles and cutting and roping setup.
- Loop trail that includes hills and flat sections.
- Covered stalls for short term overnight boarding.
- Huge graveled areas and turnarounds to provide ample parking and turn around spaces.
- All facilities are designed with horse safety in mind.

John Harper
Owner
John Harper is the COO of American Heritage Railways. John graduated from Fort Lewis College with a focus in the School of Business Administration, Tourism and Hospitality and Political Science and also holds certifications as a Firefighter, Emergency Medical Responder, Hazmat Ops and Awareness tech, Wildland/Urban interface Firefighter and Engineer. His interest in western culture has played an important part in the companies involvement in historic preservation, local rodeo events and now the operation of Tuxon Ranch!
Haley Chumley
Ranch Manager
Graduating with a degree in Horse Training & Management, Haley has traveled all over the U.S. following her passion for horses. From breeding racehorses to KY, to riding barrel horses and cutters in CO and TX, and even working at facilities on the East Coast, Haley strives to make Tuxon Ranch the best it can be, and welcome every discipline through its doors!
